Staying Connected to Ruby's Evolution

Community involvement is how we stay connected to Ruby's evolution. By organizing meetups, sponsoring initiatives, and speaking at conferences, we build relationships that make both the community and Visuality stronger.

Through these efforts, we gain clear insight into the community and allow everybody to recognize Visuality as a well-known, caring and involved organization.

Local Meetups

After the pandemic, when in-person meetups went into regression, we started organizing them in Warsaw (since 2022). We have been doing so every month for the last 3 years and we are not planning to stop.

We do it under affiliation of Polish Ruby User Group - as we believe that all meetups in Poland should cooperate, exchange speakers and work together for the future of Ruby and Rails.

With local community, we have managed to build a strong relationship between the Warsaw developers. They have a chance to learn more, meet like-minded people, get presenting experience, and sometimes even find new job opportunities.

Ruby Community Conference

After the first year of organizing meetups, we were ready for more. We've organized the first edition of Ruby Community Conference in Warsaw. The first edition gathered around 100 attendees.

Since then, we've organized 3 other editions of the conference - two in Warsaw and one in Krakow. The last one hosted 300 attendees, 4 international speakers, 7 workshops and a splendid afterparty.

It's an incredible journey which brings us even closer to the Ruby community in Poland and globally. Through this, we gain a clear insight into the community and allow everybody to recognize Visuality as a well-known, caring and involved organization.

Ruby Europe

We are a proud sponsor of Ruby Europe organization. Through it, we help to re-establish European meetups which disappeared in the last years (especially after COVID). Ruby Europe reaches out to previous organizers or finds new ones. It gives tools and know-how to power the local communities.

We, as Visuality, are present whenever Ruby Europe has a new mission. Our CEO and CTO have presented in Madrid, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Berlin or London - igniting the joy of Ruby in all those places.

A thriving European Ruby ecosystem means more developers choosing Ruby, more companies building with Rails, and ultimately a stronger foundation for everyone involved. This growth benefits us all.

International Ruby Community

We are active members of the international Ruby community. We attend conferences and present at a great deal of them. In 2025 alone, our developers have visited 8 conferences and presented at 7 of them!
